NEW SKYWATCH WWS Wind Warning System:
Our new SKYWATCH WWS Wind station measures windspeed with a sensor located at the end of a 15 meter cable. The WWS has alarm thresholds for warning of high windspeed; three levels of windspeed thresholds can be set. The warning is both audible and visual. The kit includes the display, a 15 meter sensor cable and wind turbine.

The sensor assembly includes the 15m cable with a sensor at the end, and wind turbine (top). Attach the turbine to a level surface, and place the end of the sensor near. An internal magnet in the wind turbine creates a magnetic field which is received by the sensor and carried to the WWS display.

ALARMS:

The key feature of the Skywatch WWS is the user programmable alarms for windspeed. There are three levels of alarms, for different maximum windspeeds.

Three thresholds can be set for windspeed, with a programmable alarm duration for each level. The red LEDs will flash and an audible alarm will sound for the duration set.

After an alarm has been activated, the display will show which alarms were triggered. This way even if you are away from the unit when an alarm goes off, you can visually see that it was activate.
The WWS PRO features a water-tight case, 12V input, and 235 VAC-5A output interface for switch control235 VAC-5A output interface for switch control. This is useful for outdoor applications to control electric devices.
The standard WWS System comes complete with the display, 15m sensor cable, and wind turbine. Different cable lengths are available on special order in lengths of 5, 15, 50, and 60 meters. Note that the WWS sensor cable is not compatible with the AWS system.
WWS Display, battery operated (2 x AA included) or AC adapter (optional). No internal sensors in the display, all information is measured via the sensor assemblies.

WWS Display is not weatherproof and is designed to be used inside. The cable and sensors are completely weatherproof and desigend to be used in harsh environments.
